My life’s work has taken me from military service and firefighting to activism, higher education, journalism, and farming. Each chapter has strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my understanding of how to serve a diverse community.

These experiences have also shaped my values: compassion, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves to be heard. I take pride in connecting with people from all walks of life, listening to their concerns, and working together to find solutions that matter for our city’s future.
